How are you doing?

There’s already something different about 2025. Can you feel it? Almost as if there’s a subtle shift in how time itself is moving.

You know what’s funny? I didn’t have “become a duck mama” on my 2024 bingo card. And definitely not runner ducks – those elegant, wine-bottle-shaped characters who look more like they’re hosting a garden party than foraging for bugs. But when my husband (seemingly) randomly suggested we get ducks last summer, my nurturing heart said yes before my head could even process the logistics.

The timing wasn’t logical – who starts a duck adventure in late summer? But somehow he found two dozen runner duck eggs, declared that some might be fertilized, and before I knew it, there was an incubator humming away in my office. And voila – here I am on the first day of 2025, walking my unexpected feathered family and wondering how that all *magiced* itself into being.

Just this morning at the crack of dawn, I watched my unexpected garden crew at work and something struck me about their timing. How they know exactly when the morning bugs are most active, when the morning dew has softened the perfect patch of earth for foraging, when to arrive at their favourite puddle just as the sun hits it at the right angle to spot water skimmers. And somehow, they’re always back at Duckingham Palace just before the neighbourhood owl begins his nightly rounds.

Looking back, I can see how the seemingly random timing of our duck adventure was anything but random. Because divine timing isn’t about good timing or bad timing. Divine timing is more of an exquisite dance between your soul and earthly natural rhythms.

Like my ducks, we all have this innate wisdom about timing – but we may have forgotten how to trust it completely. I bet between deadlines and digital calendars and everyone else’s expectations, we started doubting that inner knowing. But it never left.

I’ve also been noticing something fascinating in my client calls lately. There’s a growing sense that our usual way of measuring time isn’t quite catching the full story anymore. It’s as if the veil between soul time and earth time is getting thinner, and we’re getting to glimpse the universal intelligence behind life’s timing.

It reminds me of a client last week who was wrestling with timing. Her friend was organizing a “once in a lifetime” retreat with incredible early-bird pricing, expiring at midnight. But something inside her whispered “not this one” even while her logical mind listed all the reasons she’d be crazy to miss it. (I told her it was funny how those “once in a lifetime” opportunities seem to come around every few months. She laughed.)

That feeling is your soul speaking its truth through time itself. It’s the same wisdom that tells a seed when to sprout or a butterfly when to leave its cocoon. No vision board required, just pure sacred knowing.

And right now, as we step into 2025, that soul-timing is becoming more pronounced than ever before. 

I’m seeing people finding themselves in what feels like “time out of time,” where the usual rules of chronology seem to bend and flex. Some are experiencing dramatic accelerations in areas that have felt stuck for years. Others are being called into mysterious pauses that feel both frustrating and somehow… necessary (like the universe’s version of a software update – but one that’s actually upgrading your soul’s operating system).

So here’s what I really want you to understand about divine timing (yes, I have a point!): It’s not just about when things happen. It’s actually more about the sacred conversation between your soul and the universe that’s happening in every moment.

Your soul has its perfect timing that always synchronizes to earthly time – whether you see it or not. That’s why understanding this timing – really understanding it – changes everything about how you move through your life.
